Fab Wines Gold

How to Buy from Fab

We have a small online presence and we tend to prioritise a direct contact/relation over automated orders. You can contact us via phone or email and tell us your requirements or you can start by selecting your product and services here. You can directly select your products and services if you know already what you want to buy. You can pay directly online using your credit/debit card (we use Stripe that is quick and secure) or PayPal. Our preference however is bank transfer as in this way we can validate the order with you. By selecting bank transfer as a form of payment we will both receive an email with the details of the order that we will review together and only when you are happy you’ll pay the agreed amount via bank transfer.

Please be aware we use this website to sell wines, gluten-free beers, Italian cakes but also sometimes some “off-the-shelf” service for Fab Rides (like the assessments). The reason is that being small is much simpler to keep a single online shop and we aim to integrate more in the future the Fab Rides Outdoor proposition with the Fab Wines one.

We will review the order together before it is final if you select bank transfer as a payment method. This is probably the best way to get some advice from Fab. Prosecco Superiore Perfect for Food Pairings

Did you know that Prosecco is best for food? The bubbles and the high acidity are always a culinary treat alongside most of our meals. The key thing to remember is that “dry” and “extra dry” Prosecco sparkling wines are sweeter than the “brut” ones. To pair with desserts, make sure you choose something that is labelled as extra dry or dry to match the sweetness level of the wine to that of the food so that neither one is nullified. The same is valid for tasty and savoury food pairings including spicy and fried dishes. The Brut is a perfect wine to complement mild foods such as Parma ham, mild cheeses, sushi or vegetable antipasti (not spicy). Cured meats or delicate fish will be fab with a light and refreshing Prosecco.
