Livio (Voghera’s winemaker) uses something similar to the Beaujolais vinification maceration method with Nebbiolo.
He calls it the “hamburger maceration method”.
I just tasted 2020, and it is an outstanding wine that challenges the outstanding colour and notes of 2019.
To celebrate Livio “hamburger” Beauujolais’s vinification process and to allow my Fab Winers to see how this guy is consistently good, I will deliver mixed cases of 2019 and 2020 vintage at the price of 2019. Just order a case of 12 2019 bottles, and add a note you want the mixed case and I’ll create a case with 6 2019 and 6 2020.
