The producer: Casa Vinicola Aldo Rainoldi is on the wine business since 1925. They started as local wine merchant to then buy and grow their own vines. This is fabulous pale red ruby colour, flavours of red berries with hints of hazelnut. An ideal companion for rich starters, pasta, all kind of meat and cheese. A proper Nebbiolo wine must age for at least 5 years to open completely. This is a classic and established product. You can find the 2017 but not early vintages. Here you have the amazing 2013 that you don’t find anymore in any other online shop. Few Cases Left!
Serving temperature between 16ºC and 18ºC
It is a wine coming from Valtellina Superiore’s subzone, named after the Grumello castle dating back to 13th century. Red wine with great personality and good body and structure, to drink preferably from the third year after production.
It is ideal with red meat, game, quite substantial first courses, as well as semi-mature cheeses.
