This wine is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes that are grown in the village of Castione Andevenno (Province of Sondrio) in Italy, at an elevation of 400/500 meters. The winemakers use a technique called maceration, which involves keeping the grape skins in contact with the juice for 20 days at a controlled temperature of 25 degrees Celsius. The wine is then aged for 12 months in barrique, followed by 12 months in oak barrels, and then at least 24 months in the bottle. The alcohol content of this wine is 15.5%.
